The overall Style Award prize package is this year worth £10,000 – double the amount it was worth in 2023. Brand new for 2024 is the Sustainable Style Award, which will see a prize worth £2,000 awarded to the most fashionably and sustainably dressed racegoer.

Two prizes worth £4,000 each will be awarded to the ‘Best Dressed’ racegoers on site, expertly selected by a panel of judges, including Aintree Ambassador and two-weight world champion boxer Natasha Jonas.

James Rennard, Marketing Manager at the Merseyside Racecourse, said: “We’re delighted to be working with the team at River Island to create what is sure to be one of the best Ladies’ Days in the event’s history.

“Alongside great prizes on offer, we’re excited about the addition of an award for the most sustainably dressed racegoer on Ladies’ Day, highlighting The Jockey Club’s commitment to the environment. Fashion, combined with the world class action we can expect to see on the track at Aintree on Ladies’ Day, makes this an unmissable date for your diary, so get your tickets now!”

Gemma Scarfe, Marketing Director at River Island, adds: “Lady’s Day at Aintree is an important moment in our customers’ calendars – it’s a stylish day out that marks the start of summer.  We’re excited to be there as the Official Style Partner and sponsor of the Style Awards for 2024. We can’t wait to see racegoers having fun with fashion and creating lasting memories.”

This year’s Style Awards will take place in the recently enhanced Red Rum Garden – one of the most popular destinations on the racecourse during the Randox Grand National Festival and an area full of great food and drink, entertainment and music.
